You Are My Favourite Place

Hello there!

First off, I want to apologise for not posting last week, things have been really stressful yet again with college so I haven't been very organised with blog posts, I'm sorry!!!

So the other day I went to town before my classes, and took a cheeky trip to Topshop and was instantly grasped by their Matte Nails collection, which I featured a couple of posts ago, and I thought I'd show you how I used the Milk and Honey colour, which is white.

I'm a huge fan of the odd nail, and since it's less than a week to Paris I thought I'd try out a Breton style.

I applied two coats of the nail polish, then used a Barry M nail art pen to draw the stripes. (I only managed to do the stripes on one hand because I'm absolutely useless with my left hand!)

I hope you liked this, let me know in the comments!

Thank you

Burn Baby Burn

Howdy!

Another quick one today as I'm off to work in a minute, but I just thought I'd share some nail art.

Last night we had a Burns night specials night at work (I work in a restaurant) so we were told we had to dress in tartan for the festivities, which really wasn't a problem for me, I love tartan! I wore some Topshop red tartan treggings with my white shirt.

I thought I'd go all out and do my nails as well and did the Scottish flag using the thin white nail brush that I used in my halloween nails post. For the blue I used a Rimmel + Lycra polish, then finished the whole thing off with a clear top coat so it stayed on nicely.

I hoped you enjoyed this, let me know what you think in the comments!

Thank you

In This Town Of Halloween

Howdy!
I know that Halloween was yesterday, but I'm celebrating with my friends tonight, so to go with my awesome costume (sourced from Topshop of course) I thought I'd do some halloween themed nails.
For these I used Rimmel 60 second nail polishes and a nail art nail polish from Boyes, which was only £1! The 60 second nail polishes are my favourite brand of polish, mostly because I'm impatient and can't be bothered to wait for them to dry. For the base I used the (800) Black Cab polish, and for the blood drips I used (310) Red Carpet, which has a little bit of sparkle in it, because who doesn't like sparkles?! The cross was done using a white nail art polish that I picked up in Boyes in one of my free periods, and to be honest I wasn't expecting a lot, but I'm actually really impressed by it! The brush is really thin which meant I could do the cross easily, and its safe to say I'll be using this a lot more in the future. Finally, I applied a clear topcoat to keep it all in place.

I hope you enjoyed this and happy (belated) halloween!!
