Blue Jeans

Howdy!
As you probably know, I've been living in my Topshop MOM jeans for the past few months, but I've tended to just style them down and keep it casual, so I decided to try and dress them up a bit!

I found this top from River Island and thought it would be great for jazzing up a pair of jeans. The shoes I fell in love with after seeing them on a few bloggers around London Fashion Week (well on Instagram because I didn't go) and everyone needs a giant clutch bag on a night out or a fancy dinner. This lipstick was just a picture I found on Tumblr and really liked it, and thought it would give the outfit a bit of an edge.

I hope you liked this, let me know in the comments!
Thank you

This Is How We Do

Howdy!

Today I thought I'd do something a little different, mix it up a bit, and do the 'Get To Know Me' tag. (I wasn't actually tagged but I thought it'd be fun!)
So here goes!

17

What is your middle name?
My middle name is technically Charlotte, but my first name is double barreled so I guess Ricki is kind of my middle name too?

What nationality are you?
British

What do you do for a living?
I'm in 6th form college at the minute, and I have a part-time job in a restaurant

If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Oh gosh, there's so many places! I want to go to America and Australia and Italy and Germany and Ireland and everywhere! I love to travel!

What is your favourite place to shop for clothing?
Definitely Topshop, or Primark, and I really love car-boot sales and charity/vintage shops

What shoe size are you?
6 or 7, depending on the style and shop

Last time I checked I was 5"8

Settle Down

Howdy!
Another day, another outfit post, and yet another floral dress. For a girl who tends to live in black I've been very adventurous lately, which was actually one of my new years resolutions, yay me!

This dress is really out there for me, as not only is it floral, it's also pink! Saying that I have been wearing a lot of pink lately. I'm still not sure about this dress, it's a t-shirt style which I don't think really suits my body shape, but hey ho, it was pretty. I couldn't find the actual dress on New Look's website, but I found this similiar one.

I hope you liked this, and let me know your opinions of the dress in the comments!
Thank you

Angel Eyes

Howdy!

Outfit post ahoy! It's that time of the week again!

This is the jumper that I bought last week, and featured in my She Looks So Perfect post. I paired it with a pair of formal grey trousers that have tiny check detail on them, similar to these and I really like how this outfit turned out! The jumper is so soft and comfortable and I think the grey and pink compliment each other massively!

I hope you enjoyed this, let me know what you think in the comments!

The Kettle's On

Howdy!

Outfit post time again, and I'm sorry for switching up the style again, but these next few are going to be outfits that I tried on whilst shopping, but unfortunately couldn't afford.

Firstly was this Black Floral Skater Dress which I paired with the pink Raglan Knitted JumperI thought the softness of the pink contrasted really well with the dark colour of the dress, and it brought out the pink-ness of the flowers on the dress, so all in all I think it's a really pretty outfit, perfect for the transitional period between winter and spring.

I hope you enjoyed this, let me know in the comments!

She Looks So Perfect

Howdy!

I had some errands to run this weekend (felt proper grown up), which meant a fun little trip into town, and of course, a look around the last minute sales.
(FYI not ringing my own bell with the title of this one, but I am OBSESSED with the new 5 Seconds of Summer song)

My #OOTD, very pink which is an alien concept to me, I featured this skirt a while ago in my post We Don't Care For Romance,  and I thought I'd give it another airing today, seeing as the weather has finally brightened up! I also wore a satin ducky pink vest with god stud detail on it and a cute little black cardigan that I've had forever. Since the weather's still not brilliant I'm sporting my oversized boyfriend pea coat, as well as my new vintage brown leather handbag ( I will do a post about it in the near future) and a vintage gold watch.

Seeing as I went looking around the sales, it felt wrong not to buy something, so I picked up this Coral Textured V Neck Jumper  and a grey beanie similar to this one, both from New Look. I also went to Boots to update the points on my advantage card and bought the new issue of Company magazine.

I hope you enjoyed this little OOTD/update, let me know in the comments!

Thank you

#WHATSINMYMAKEUPBAG

Howdy!

Today I thought I'd do a What's In My Makeup Bag post, as I've seen a lot of bloggers do one on Youtube and I wanted to give it a try, so here goes!

My makeup bag (and the bits that are a bit too big to fit in it!)
I got my makeup bag free from an issue of Company magazine about a year ago, and it's super handy to just shove in a bag because it's so small! However, as you can see, it means I can't always fit anything in it. (Also, please excuse how dirty it is, a damn good clean is in order)

The goodies!
So here's what's inside! These are the products I tend to use most often, I actually have a much larger one as well for things that I only use on special occasions and nights out (let me know in the comments if that's something you want me to feature in the future).

Things I use on my face
First off here are the things I use on my face on a normal day, not including my Bodyshop moisturiser.
1) Hide the Blemish concealer by Rimmel London in Natural Beige
2) Healthy Mix foundation by Bourjois in Vanilla
3) Healthy Balance powder by Bourjois in Vanilla
4) the Real Techniques stippling brush

Things I use on my eyes
1) Studio Gel Liner by Maybelline New York
2) OhSo... eye pencil by Next in black
3) Lashbuild mascara by Natural Collection in black
4) Silk Kohl pencil by Oriflame International in 84 chestnut brown ( I use this on my eyebrows...when I remember)

Things I use on my lips
1) Kate Moss Lasting Finish lipstick by Rimmel London in 01
2) Topshop lipstick in Straight Ace
3) Baby Lips by Maybelline New York in Cherry
4) Colorsensational lip liner by Maybelline New York in 540 Hollywood

So there you go! That's what's in my everyday makeup bag.
I hope you enjoyed this, let me know in the comments!
Thank you

Back to Black

Howdy!

After a long day at college I enjoy nothing more than a bit of online retail therapy...or window shopping. I was browsing through the New Look website when I came across these few items, so I decided to put them into an outfit post.

Of course, it is mostly black, but I think this combination of smart trousers and a casual jumper work so well together (and the 'I hate mondays' slogan is perfect for college). These boots are similar to the ones I used in my Lust List #1 a few weeks ago, I've been eyeing up this style for ages! Finally to finish it off, an oversized black tote bag, perfect for school, college or just a trip out.

I hope you enjoyed this, let me know in the comments!
Thank you

These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things (January Edition)

Howdy!

January is over now (one step closer to summer yay!) and I thought I'd share with you some things I've been loving this month, not just from the world of fashion and beauty, a few other bits as well. So lets get started!

First up, it has to be my Topshop jeans. As you know I bought two pairs at the beginning of the month; a pair of black Joni jeans and a pair of MOM jeans, similar to these and I know I talk about them a lot, but I have literally been living in them! The Joni jeans are super comfortable and so stretchy, so they're not  restricting at all! The MOM jeans are just so stylish, and I'm not going to lie, I've had loads of compliments on them!

Next, the Real Techniques stippling brush. I bought this a few weeks ago (see Material Girl) and I just fell in love! It can be used for so much, I apply moisturiser, foundation and powder with it, so it's a real space saver as you don't need to carry 3 brushes.

Music wise, I've found a few new things to listen to, which was one of my new years resolutions, so that's been going well! Over christmas I bought the new Arctic Monkeys album AM and I think it's fantastic! I also bought the new album from The 1975, which is near flawless. Recently I discovered a band called AS IT IS, fronted by Youtuber Patty Walters  which I really like.
Finally, on Sunday (26th January) I got to see Mayday Parade live at Nottingham Rescue Rooms, which was absolutely incredible! It was such a good gig, and because of the size of Rescue Rooms it felt so intimate, which is something I really enjoy. Anyway, one of their 3 brilliant support acts was a band called Divided By Friday, who sound like a cross between The Summer Set and Fall Out Boy, so naturally I went home after and bought their latest EP.

Modern Memoirs - Divided By Friday

Blenheim Place - AS IT IS

I hope you enjoyed this! What have you been loving over January? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you
